Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff RF Microwave Design Engineer who is experienced in the following areas:
Antennas, Electromagnetics, Computational Electromagnetics, RF/Microwave design, Digital beam-forming, Hardware/Subsystem Integration and Test, and Antenna Control Design.
The qualified candidate will work with a diverse and talented team of engineers developing innovative and cost effective systems that support a broad range of products and business areas across the life cycle of a program.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Designs, develops, tests radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products. Includes antenna design, both reflector and array systems, frequency synthesizers, transmitters and receivers.
Developing and/or testing radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave antenna systems and/or related RF hardware.
Active electronically scanned arrays (AESAs)
Highly integrated subsystems including antenna hardware
Reflectors, Reflect Arrays, Digital Beam Forming
Antenna/RF Performance Analysis
Computational Electromagnetics, Statistics
Antenna or Subsystem Control Design
Antenna Measurements and Data Reduction
Antenna range integration, test, and system integration
Subsystem requirements (hardware and software) derivation, flow-down, and configuration
The Engineering RF Microwave Design positions require the candidates to have the ability to obtain and maintain at least a Top Secret / SCI Clearance per business requirements.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 14 years of related experience, or 12 years of related experience with a Master's Degree, or 9 years of experience with a PhD
Ability to obtain and maintain and Active Top Secret / SCI Clearance.
TS/SCI with poly
Experience using Matlab
Experience using modeling tools such as STK and HFSS
Salary Range: 149000 - 223400
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
