If you do, you might have the right skills and interests to be a great VOIP Engineer.We are seeking a VOIP Engineer who specializes in Microsoft Teams Phone System. The position will analyze and deliver solutions on the MS Teams and AudioCodes platform. The ideal candidate will be able to plan, deploy, manage, and maintain MS Direct Routing, Endpoints, Teams Clients, and Phone System capabilities. You will recommend tools and capabilities to optimize and enhance AudioCodes TEAMS experience using On-Premises, Cloud-based, and Hybrid Resources. Your technical expertise will be vital, as you work to ensure standards are met and optimized using the latest Cloud technologies.The VIOP Engineer typically collaborates with other Network Systems Analysts, Computer Scientists, and even end-users. A Telecom Administrator's goal is to improve and ensure quality in business-critical networks that link data and voice communications. These can include telephone, video conferencing, computer, and voicemail systems. The goal is to keep those critical company communications running reliably.Responsibilities+ Configures, tests deploys and maintains/upgrades unified communications/telephony systems+ Performs adds/moves/changes and performs preventative maintenance on telephony systems+ Proactively monitors and resolves potential service interruptions+ Provides Tier 3 support for telecom service requests and repairs received via service tickets+ Create and maintain end-user training materials and documentation+ Design, optimization, and implementation of telephony systems and changes throughout the organization+ Plans for and designs systems for future growth+ Mentors and aids in the development of Voice Engineers and Voice Engineer Associates+ Provides after-hours support Competencies+ Knowledge in end to end SIP testing including PSTN interworking+ Provide expert level analysis of SIP call flows, including problem isolation and resolution+ Interact and cooperate with carriers and partners to continually improve call delivery reliability and quality+ Full understanding of SIP trunking and endpoints.+ Strong understanding of VoiP configuration.
